Highways and Streets

Located just off I-35 along U.S. Highway 69 and Shepherd Road. Heartland Drive, through the park, is a 36-foot asphalt street with concrete curbs.

Rail Services

Burlington Northern Railroad runs along the east boundary of the park.

Air Services

Kansas City International Airport is located 15 miles west of Heartland Meadows via I-435. Clay County Regional Airport is seven miles northeast of the park.

Electricity

UtiliCorp United and Union Electric Company each supply electricity to portions of Heartland Meadows. All distribution lines inside the park are underground.

Natural Gas

Missouri Gas Energy furnishes natural gas to Heartland Meadows through 6-inch lines located throughout the park.

Water and Sanitary Sewer

Served by the City of Liberty. Twelve-inch water lines are located throughout the park. Sanitary sewers are connected to the City of Liberty's northside treatment plant.

Telephone

Southwestern Bell Telephone Company serves Heartland Meadows from fiber optic cable connected to a state-of-the-art electronic switching central office.

Covenants and Restrictions

Carefully drawn private covenants and restrictions supplement Planned Industrial Zoning to insure compatibility of all businesses in Heartland Meadows as well as long term preservation of values. Heartland Meadows has been designed to provide a safe and attractive workplace for the employees of firms that are located there.

Permits

Heartland Meadows has completed the following to assure compliance with applicable regulations:

  • A Phase 1 Environmental Study has been completed for the entire development.

  • The entire development is zoned for light industrial development by the City of Liberty.

  • A Section 404 Wetlands Permit has been obtained, including approved mitigation plan.

Development sites are available from five acres.
